Come annunciato da HDblog in esclusiva, Spotify è pronto a sbarcare ufficialmente anche in Italia, con lo switch-on deciso per martedì 12 Febbraio. La notizia ha ormai raggiunto tutti i canali e per il debutto è stato scelto l’evento musicale italiano più rappresentativo: il Festival di Sanremo!

Il servizio di streaming musicale on demand è già piuttosto conosciuto qui da noi, visto l’immenso successo raggiunto in poco tempo nei pochi paesi dove disponibile; tuttavia, Sanremo sarà il giusto palcoscenico per arrivare direttamente al grande pubblico, ai milioni di utenti italiani appassionati di musica che da tempo attendono l’arrivo di una simile piattaforma, del tutto legale.

Sanremo e il suo festival saranno parte integrante nel lancio di Spotify, con tutti i brani in gara e le altre canzoni dei nuovi album resi immediatamente disponibili per lo streaming. Una partnership davvero importante per la ‘startup’ svedese, che grazie ad accordi precisi con alcune delle principali etichette musicali (Sony, EMI, Warner Music Group, Universal e diverse indipendenti) renderà il tutto disponibile su smartphone e tablet con sistema Android, iOS, Windows Phone 8, come su Windows, Linux, Mac OS X.

Il sistema operativo mobile di Microsoft è stato l’ultimo a ricevere l’applicazione ufficiale, giunta sullo Store Windows Phone soltanto nella giornata di ieri, giusto qualche giorno prima del debutto in Italia, paese con il più alto share di Windows Phone 8 al mondo. L’applicazione non è ancora presente nello store virtuale italiano, ma lo sarà ben presto.

BMW R1200GS 2013

La BMW R1200GS 2013 è la motocicletta più attesa dell’anno, se non altro perché in Italia domina da anni la classifica delle vendite. Dal primo GS del 1980 parlare di Gelande/Strasse (fuoristrada/strada) è decisamente riduttivo. Oggi siamo di fronte a un enduro da turismo da 238 kg fra i più versatili del panorama motociclistico. La mucca va bene per la città, le gite fuoriporta, i lunghi viaggi e anche il fuoristrada impegnativo (a patto di essere un buon manico).

Sì, è vero. Quando Hubert Auriol con l’R80GS si sparava la Parigi-Dakar era un’altra cosa. Adesso tutti questi avvocatini su GS metropolitani fanno storcere il naso, però sono cambiati i tempi. Ora è uno status symbol.

La versione 2013 (disponibile da marzo) vanta un nuovo motore raffreddato ad aria ed acqua, l’acceleratore ride-by-wire e volendo anche le sospensioni semi-attive Dynamic Esa. Se poi si monta anche il controllo di trazione ASC si fa filotto.

Ok, ma andiamo con ordine, com’è alla vista? Cattiva, spigolosa e un po’ robot – come detta l’imperante stilema giapponese. Gli spigoli ci sono come sempre. Ma questo è il suo bello, perché il razionalismo tedesco sta al GS come il pompone alle Ducati. Dopodiché la 2013 ha un anteriore massiccio, e un posteriore snello e agile grazie al classico telaietto a traliccio. I due nuovi piccoli radiatori anteriori sono protetti da due alette che alla fine concorrono con il becco per delineare questo tocco mecha. Verrebbe quasi da dire “Miva lanciami i componenti” guardano i nuovi anabbaglianti a LED.

E poi che fascino quei due cilindri contrapposti, nati ingegneristicamente in tempi di guerra e tratto indelebile del boxer BMW. I dati tecnici possono essere riassunti in pochi dettagli. Cilindrata 1.170, potenza massima 125 cavalli a 7.700 giri, coppia massima di 125 Nm a 6.500.

Quel che conta è che il raffreddamento è migliorato grazie a una miscela di acqua e glicolo. Beh questo vale solo per le teste, perché i cilindri si affidano ancora all’aria. Le prestazioni sono leggermente migliorate, così come i consumi. Pare che anche sulle emissioni ci sia stata una qualche riduzione. Infine bisogna rilevare la nuova frizione in bagno d’olio e il cardano spostato a sinistra.

La ciclistica è cambiata per ottenere maggiore resistenza torsionale, stabilità e precisione nella guida. Il Telelever anteriore e il Paralever posteriore lavorano bene in ogni condizione, ma pare che sia notevolmente migliorata la trazione su sterrato. Novità sul fronte pneumatici: le misure adesso sono 120/70-19 e 170/60-17. Belle le pinze monoblocco Brembo ad attacco radiale.

Sotto il punto di vista dell’elettronica la R1200GS 2013 vanta cinque riding mode: Rain, Road, Dynamic, Enduro e Enduro Pro. Ognuno è caratterizzato da regolazioni diverse per acceleratore, intervento ABS e controllo trazione ASC.

Viber is very similar to WhatsApp as it uses mobile contact numbers to identify users. You get an access code sent to your mobile number via text message. It’ll then access your address book to see if any of your contacts are connected to Viber; you can then instantly connect with them. During their fourth quarter and calendar year 2012 results Activision Blizzard, has confirmed that they will be releasing a new instalment in the Call of Duty franchise.

Activision CFO Dennis Durkin confirmed the launch of a new game in 2013 under the Call of Duty banner, but no details on the new game have been released as yet.

The most recent game to launch late last year Call of Duty installment, Black Ops 2, grossed $1 billion in the first 15 days of its release, helping Activision Blizzard t report better than expected fourth quarter results.

“We are very pleased to report that Activision Blizzard delivered the best performance in its history,” Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick stated. “As we look to 2013, we will continue to invest in our established franchises, as well as several new properties. We expect these investments to drive our growth over the long term and to enable us to deliver superior returns to our shareholders in the years to come.”

Bisognerà attendere il MWC 2013 per averne la certezza assoluta ma ormai tutto sembra pronto e le notizie di corridoio sono molte. Asus sarebbe pronta ad entrare in maniera forte e decisa nel segmento Windows Phone 8. Dopo aver maturato esperienza mobile con Android e aver lanciato tantissimi Tablet, nel 2012 il produttore Taiwanese non ha certo nascosto l’interesse nelle piattaforma Window 8 mostrando Tablet PC e ibridi veramente molto interessanti e potenti. All’appello mancherebbe uno smartphone ma in realtà l’attesa sembra essere finita.

Tra poche settimane Asus dovrebbe infatti svelare il primo WP8 basato su processore Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Dual Core affiancato da 1GB di RAM e con una fotocamera che, dalla indiscrezioni, dovrebbe essere da ben 13 megapixel. Un prodotto che andrà a concorrere con la fascia alta dei WP8 e in particolare con Nokia Lumia 920, HTC 8X e Ativ S. Ovviamente il tutto è da prendere come una speculazione ma gli indizi sono moltissimi e ormai tutto sembra pronto…

BlackBerry Z10 è disponibile da pochi giorni e le comparazioni con i top di gamma delle altre piattaforma mobile non si contano. In attesa di una nostra prova diretta vogliamo mostrarvi due filmati che metto a confronto il nuovo device della casa canadese con il Samsung Galaxy S3 e l’Apple iPhone 5, giusto per completare la serie di OS dopo il video confronto con il Nokia Lumia 920.

Quel che appare evidente, aldilà delle considerazioni specifiche, è che lo Z10  riesce a tener testa su diversi fronti, anche se confrontato con due ‘best seller’ che stanno raccogliendo decine di milioni di vendite e possono contare su diversi antenati, dal quale si sono lentamente evoluti. Questo vantaggio BlackBerry non l’ha avuto: con lo Z10 si è reinventato tutto d’accapo, partendo sin da subito con un device convincente e al passo con i tempi.

BlackBerry Z10 vs Samsung Galaxy S3

Il confronto fra i due smartphone è piuttosto interessante, entrambi con display HD ma tecnologie diverse che ne accentuano pro e contro a seconda delle situazioni. Il Super AMOLED del GS3 sfoggia come suo solito colori vivaci, saturati ed un’ottima illuminazione complessiva. All’opposto troviamo sullo Z10 un display con più alto valore di point-per-inch pari a 356, colori più tenui, angoli di visione lievemente migliori ed una visibilità più chiara all’aperto.

Design decisamente differente, con linee rette e angoli smussati dello Z10 che si contrappongono alla linee morbide e tondeggianti del GS3, ovviamente più grande nel complesso ma di certo più leggero e sottile. Due impostazioni radicalmente differenti, questione di preferenze.

Nel filmato che segue potrete vedere i due dispositivi testa a testa, le nostre considerazioni sul software e le potenzialità di BlackBerry 10 rispetto ad Android e altre piattaforme le rimandiamo ad un nostro prossimo test diretto. Nel complesso, tuttavia, possiamo dire che lo Z10 mantiene bene il campo, con un OS ben congeniato ed un’esperienza appagante nel web browsing, apparentemente uguale per entrami i device con velocità di render e scolling praticamente identica.

BlackBerry Z10 vs Apple iPhone 5

L’altro grande confronto del neo arrivato vede come protagonista l’Apple iPhone 5, decisamente più simile in quanto a design complessivo e form factor. In questo caso la colorazione bianca del melafonino non rende molto l’idea, ma è evidente la somiglianza, anche di profilo. I vantaggi rispetto ad iPhone sono diversi, cominciando da un display HD di 4.2″ che stacca di poco i 4 pollici (risoluzione 640 x 1136 pixel) e permette una fruizione dei contenuti lievemente migliore. Lo schermo Retina non teme comunque confronti, con angoli di visione ampi, colori vivaci ed una maggiore chiarezza all’aperto; tutte considerazioni che non vediamo l’ora di verificare con i nostri occhi.

Altro vantaggio per il BlackBerry Z10 è la batteria removibile, aspetto sempre molto discusso tra i diversi ‘schieramenti’. La possibilità di poterla sostituire calza poi a pennello visto che molti lamentano una autonomia che difficilmente arriva oltre le 10 ore di utilizzo mediamente intenso.

Da non sottovalutare anche il fattore prezzi, con BlackBerry che ha fissato il costo del suo Z10 in versione SIM-free a circa 550€ (prezzo UK), decisamente meno dell’iPhone 5, disponibile da 729€ nella versione da 16GB. Vediamo il confronto video:

Tra le novità che il Samsung Galaxy S4 porterà attraverso la presentazione al prossimo Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2013, si parla di una sorta di “Floating Touch”, lo stesso sistema utilizzato da Sony con il recente Xperia Sole in grado di muovere immagini, selezionare collegamenti e navigare sul web senza toccare il display con le dita ma avvicinandole a poca distanza dallo schermo. Samsung però personalizzerà questo sistema in modo più efficace con una serie di opzioni e funzionalità in più che potrebbero portare qualcosa di davvero particolare all’interno del panorama smartphone.

L’indiscrezione proviene dalla rivista DDaily, e il tutto funzionerebbe grazie al nuovo controller Atmel’s maXTouch S integrato sotto del display. Il segnale in ingresso consente un utilizzo misto della superficie dando modo tramite alcune gestures di staccare le dita dal display in alcune parti dell’interfaccia. Le possibilità di utilizzo possono essere davvero molte, mentre sarà interessante vedere quanto consumerà in termini di batteria una soluzione di questo tipo applicata alle funzioni basilari di uno smartphone come rispondere alle chiamate o ad un messaggio di testo.

Ormai ci siamo, dopo molte notizie e informazioni, il 19 marzo AMD rilascerà sul mercato i nuovi processori APU della famiglia Richland che prenderà il posto dei modelli Trinity. Successivamente, verso maggio, verranno poi presentati anche i modelli dedicati al reparto notebook di cui però al momento non si conosco ancora molte informazioni. Riguardo i processori desktop, andiamo a svelarveli brevemente.

Si parte con il modello A10-6800K che presenta una frequenza di 4,1 GHz (turbo a 4,4 GHz) con GPU integrata Radeon HD 8670D (clock di 844 MHz), architettura Quad Core e TDP 100W. Si continua poi con il modello A8-6600K con frequenze di 3.9 GHz (turbo a 4.2 GHz), grafica integrata Radeon HD 8570D (clock di 844 MHz), architettura Quad Core e TDP 100W. Entrambi con moltiplicatore sbloccato. A seguire ecco poi gli altri modelli:

• A10-6700 frequenza a 3,7 GHz, (turbo a 4,3 GHz), GPU integrata Radeon HD 8670D con clock di 844 MHz, architettura Quad Core e TDP 65W;
• A8-6500 frequenza a 3.5 GHz (turbo a 4.1 GHz), GPU integrata Radeon HD 8570D con clock di 800 MHz, architettura Quad Core e TDP 65W;
• A6-6400K frequenza a 3.9 GHz (turbo a 4.1 GHz), GPU integrata Radeon HD 8470D con clock di 800 MHz, architettura Dual Core,  TDP 65W e moltiplicatore di frequenza sbloccato
• A4-6300, frequenza di 3.7 GHz, 3.9 in modalità Turbo, GPU integrata Radeon HD 8370D con clock di 760 MHz,  architettura Dual Core e TDP 65W.

In contemporanea con il Computex 2013 di Taipei a Giugno, l’azienda rilascerà poi la seconda generazione di processori FX con architettura Piledriver mentre, a metà del 2013, è atteso il debutto delle APU Kaveri con GPU integrata Radeon HD8000, per sistemi desktop e notebook. Infine, sempre durante questo 2013, AMD rilascerà anche le APU Kabini con architettura dual e quad core con GPU integrata GCN.

Dunque parecchie novità AMD ci aspetteranno durante quest’anno, sperando che i nuovi prodotti portino un po’ di “fresco” all’intero mercato del pc che come sappiamo non naviga in buone acque.

Prima o poi sarebbe arrivato. Il primo drop test del BlackBerry Z10 è toccato ai ragazzi di Mashable e i risultati sono confortanti per quanto visto. Rendere inutilizzabile un dispositivo nuovo di zecca è sempre un colpo al cuore, per altro uno tra i più ricercati in questo frangente e praticamente introvabile in USA, dove ne hanno avuto accesso soltanto le redazioni principali.

Questi ed altri drop test che seguiranno ci offrono comunque delle importanti indicazioni sulla resistenza reale del BlackBerry Z10 durante cadute accidentali, su suolo più o meno ruvido e coriaceo. In questo caso sono state portate avanti 3 prove in successione, partendo dalla moquette fino ad arrivare al cemento di un marciapiede, pietra tombale per quasi tutti gli smartphone e tablet.

BlackBerry ha lavorato molto bene nell’assemblaggio e i risultati si vedono, con la sola cover posteriore che di tanto in tanto si allenta leggermente a causa degli scossoni. Ma non vogliamo togliervi il gusto di scoprirlo da soli, ecco il filmato:

Dunque una resistenza degna di nota, con cadute su moquette e parquet che non hanno minimamente impensierito la solida struttura del BlackBerry Z10, anche quando l’altezza di caduta è stata di circa 2 metri. Lo stesso non si può dire ovviamente in strada, anche se lasciato andare da circa 1 metro di altezza nulla è stato compromesso: simulando una disattenzione mentre si sta dialogando al telefono (1.70/1.80m circa), il dispositivo non ha retto all’impatto, con il vetro del display che si è lineato in diversi punti e touch screen divenuto inutilizzabile (schermo tuttavia acceso con tutti i pixel al loro posto).

Il device si è comunque riacceso caricando normalmente il sistema operativo, divenuto tuttavia inutilizzabile. Un buon risultato nel complesso, vedremo i prossimi drop test cosa ci offriranno…

Ouya, the Kickstarter-grown home console with mobile phone / tablet innards will also be subject to mobile-style yearly iterations, according to Ouya’s Julie Uhrman. The company plans to avoid punishing early adopters by making all Ouyas backwards compatible and marrying games to user accounts for an easy transition between yearly versions of the console.

“There will be a new Ouya every year. There will be an Ouya 2 and an Ouya 3″ she explained. ”We’ll take advantage of faster, better processors, take advantage of prices falling. So if we can get more than 8GB of Flash in our box, we will.” However, there’s no word on what the company is doing to drive an annual refresh rate, which in the mobile industry is driven by a combination of carrier pricing and marketing.

La Tirannia di Re Washinghton sarà infatti suddivisa in tre episodi, denominati L’Infamia, Il Tradimento e La Redenzione. Grazie a questi pacchetti i giocatori potranno vivere una versione alternativa agli eventi successivi alla Rivoluzione americana.

Assassin’s Creed III potrà vantare di una serie di missioni aggiuntive in grado di allungare la longevità di un titolo effettivamente già profondo e pieno di attività da affrontare, sia nella Campagna principale che in rete.

Di seguito riportiamo le date ufficiali confermate da Ubisoft:

• Il DLC “Episodio 1: L’infamia” sarà disponibile per le versioni Xbox 360® e Windows PC dal 19 febbraio e per quella PlayStation®3 dal 20 febbraio.
• Il DLC “Episodio 2: Il tradimento” sarà disponibile per le versioni Xbox 360® e Windows PC dal 19 marzo e per quella PlayStation®3 dal 20 marzo.

Apple has had massive success with their iPad, and according to a recent report by research firm Canalys, in the final quarter of 2012, one in six PCs shipped was an Apple iPad, and tablets made up a third of all PC shipments for the same quarter.

Apple’s growth in the pad segment was driven by strong demand for the iPad mini. Its overall shipments, however, were hampered by supply issues. Canalys estimates that the mini made up over half of Apple’s total pad shipments, with its attractive price point and compact design leading to significant cannibalization in the iPad range and wider PC market. Despite record shipments, Q4 saw Apple’s pad share dip to 49%, becoming the first quarter it has not controlled over half the market. ‘Apple timed the launch of the iPad mini well,’ said Pin-Chen Tang, Canalys Research Analyst. ‘Its success proves there is a clear demand for pads with smaller screens at a more affordable price. Without the launch, Apple would surely have lost more ground to its competitors.’

Kepler’s Swan Song arrives with a GTX badge

Nvidia has been popping out Kepler cards like a circus clown car since the company launched its 6-series GPUs in early 2012, and now we finally reach the bottom of the GTX barrel with the $150 GeForce GTX 650 Ti. This card slots in right below the $230 GTX 660 and has less of everything—less CUDA, less memory (and a narrower memory bus width), and less PCB.

Though a 6-inch PCB is certainly not small—cough—it makes the 650 Ti the smallest card we’ve tested in a while. Since this particular board is overclocked, Gigabyte has bolted on a dual-fan cooling mechanism that adds three inches to the card’s length. Gigabyte has also doubled the card’s RAM allotment over the reference design to 2GB. The extra RAM and cooling adds $20 to the price tag, as well.

Don’t let its size fool you: Underneath the massive cooling shroud lies a wee 6-inch PCB.

In addition to the down-spec’d nature of the GTX 650 Ti, it’s also missing two performance-related features: SLI for dual-card gaming and GPU Boost functionality, so the board won’t overclock automatically during gaming. To its credit though, Gigabyte ships this card overclocked by 107MHz, and you can crank it up even further via the company’s OC Guru II software. Given its massive cooling apparatus, we’re sure the card can handle it.

In testing, the little gipper outperformed AMD cards in a similar price range, besting both the Radeon HD 6850 and HD 6870 by small-to-medium margins. However, our target is 60fps at 1920×1200, and when using that standard the card fell short. Granted, we turn everything up to Ultra or High and enable 4x AA, so we could have dialed things down a bit and probably hit 60fps in Dirt 3, Batman, and Just Cause 2. Since we’re already at 77fps in Far Cry 2, that would mean possibly reaching our goal in four out of eight games; not bad for such a small video card. The trouble is that the Radeon HD 7850 costs just $20 more, has CrossFire support, and was faster in almost every test we ran, making a final choice slightly more difficult.

If you have a rock-solid $150 budget, we have no reservations recommending a stock GTX 650 Ti, and the Gigabyte version is even better for an extra $20. But if you have even $10 more you should go with the Radeon HD 7850 since it’s a faster card.

Sigma’s latest addition to their new lens lineup.Along with the release, Sigma published a preview of what you can expect from the lens in terms of performance. If it is up to snuff, it will be a great option for those in the market for a wide-angle APS-C lens.

This lens is a definite plus for APS-C shooters even though it has a variable aperture (a trait of which I am traditionally never a fan). Today, Twitter announced an update for its search features for Android, iOS and mobile web. Furthering the company’s efforts for a more uniform user experience, the new updated adds a search button to the iPhone app, bringing it up to speed with its Android and iPad counterparts. Across the board users will be treated to improved search results for photos, tweets and accounts, along with a preview section for the Discover tab that takes a peek at the latest trends and activity. Wondering how all this magic works? Twitter’s Engineering blog describes the process by which pieces of content are ranked and scored based on factors like “burstiness” to account for recent interest spikes.

As for the Connect tab, it now defaults to Interactions, which displays new followers, mentions and retweets. However, if you’re not looking to keep track of who quoted your recent product placement rant, you can change your settings to Mentions only. Finally, and perhaps our most favorite new addition is a change to how Twitter’s mobile implementations handle links. You can now click a URL directly from your timeline without having to open the related tweet. The mobile site is already sporting the latest updates, but you’ll need to update your iOS and Android (it’s a manual update, thanks to a change in permissions) apps at their respective stores.

Analizzando anche una ricerca condotta da IHS iSuppli l’idea non sembra poi così sbagliata, la domanda di moduli di ricarica wireless crescerà da 5 milioni di unità dello scorso anno fino a ben 100 milioni entro il 2015.

Per conoscere meglio le abitudini degli utenti sull’utilizzo di uno smartphone, LG ha condotto personalmente negli Stati Uniti uno studio, stabilendo come una delle lamentele più frequenti da parte degli utenti riguardi proprio il consumo eccessivo di batteria e la velocità della stessa nel ricaricarsi completamente, costringendo spesso sempre a portarsi dietro una batteria di ricambio, ed è qui che dovrebbe intervenire la ricarica wireless.

Direttamente dalla voce di Mark Shuttleworth, fondatore di Canonical intervistato dal  Wall Street Journal arriva una graditissima notizia per tutti coloro che sono incuriositi dal nuovo Ubunu for Smartphone. Sebbene ancora l’immagine per i Galaxy Nexus si faccia attendere, l’uscita dei primi smartphone con il nuovo sistema operativo attesa per il 2014 sembra che sarà anticipata alla fine di quest’anno. Si parla di Q4 e addirittura di Ottobre per vedere la commercializzazione del nuovo Ubuntu Mobile. Purtroppo non sono stati forniti dati precisi e si parla di due mercati principali per il debutto dello smartphone (o degli smartphone) e il pensiero va sicuramente all’America e, speriamo, anche all’Europa sebbene non vi siano certezza al momento.

Dunque, nonostante il processo di sviluppo sia ancora all’inizio e di applicazioni, Market e ecosistema si faccia fatica a parlare, in Canonical sembrano piuttosto ottimisti e speriamo che un lancio anticipato non sia controproducente per l’azienda visto che comunque di competitor veramente agguerriti ne abbiamo tantissimi, BlackBerry 10 in primis.

In a move it’s calling a world’s first, Sky Sports has announced that parts of Formula 1′s final preseason tests from Circuit de Catalunya will be broadcast on its 3D network. While F1 has tested the use of 3D before, it’s never been broadcast and chief Bernie Ecclestone — who you’ll remember fiddled for years as F1 stuck with widescreen standard definition video presentations before it made the jump in 2011 — has previously said 3D will never be used. Sky Sports referred to the event as a one-off, while commentator Martin Brundle is quoted in the press release calling it a “special moment for F1 fans…a new immersive experience for viewers.

While Ecclestone may not be willing to push the envelope in broadcast tech, having Sky as a broadcast partner could force the issue as it justifies its exclusive access and dedicated broadcast channel. Last season the network upgraded the audio to Dolby 5.1 and added features like the Race Control view in its iPad app. Sky has previously featured sporting events on its 3D channel like Ryder Cup golf, Premier League and of course the 2012 Olympics. It says F1 will be the 14th sport it’s delivered in 3D, although we’ll have to wait until after this maiden test from February 28th to March 3rd — it will also be available in 2D HD on the regular F1 channel — to see if it becomes a regular fixture. Now, about those HD on-board cameras….

Molto interessanti anche le funzionalità racchiuse nella 255 HS: troviamo la modalità Raffica alta velocità, per catturare rapide sequenze, ed anche Filmato rallentato. Per chi preferisce la facilità di utilizzo è presente la modalità Smart Auto, che rileva automaticamente la scena e seleziona le impostazioni migliori tra 58 differenti combinazioni (21 in modalità video). Oltre alle foto è possibile riprendere video con risoluzione compresa tra 320 x 240 a 240fps e 1920 x 1080p a 24 fps.

A rendere particolarmente completa questa fotocamera è la presenza di un ricevitore GPS e del Wi-Fi integrato: tramite GPS è possibile utilizzare il geo-tagging delle immagini scattate, mentre via Wi-Fi si possono condividere le proprie foto online, oppure trasferirle a dispositivi come PC, smartphone e tablet, nonché avviare una stampa (ovviamente a patto di disporre di una stampante anch’essa dotata di Wi-Fi).

La Canon IXUS 255 HS sarà commercializzata nel mese di Marzo, ad un prezzo di circa 270€.

MSI annuncia l’imminente disponibilità del nuovo PC All-In-One Wind Top AP1622, un sistema che oltre al design compatto e gradevole strizza l’occhio ai consumi grazie all’utilizzo di un Processore Intel della linea ULV. Dotato di un display tochscreen da 15.6 pollici, il nuovo MSI risulta ideale per le reception degli hotel, negozi 24/h, stazioni di rifornimento, boutique e altri ambienti commerciali; non a caso onboard troviamo ben due porte COM per collegare Sistemi POS.

We have already seen one render of the new Samsung Galaxy S4, and now we have another new one, although this one looks different than the previous one and we have no idea if this is actually of the Samsung Galaxy S4 or if it has been faked.

The photo below shows all the rumored specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S4 that we have been hearing about over the last few weeks, and the photo shows the handset with a metal casing and a pair of front facing speakers.

The specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S4 listed in the render include Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, plus a 5 inch full HD super AMOLED+ display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

This version also mentions a different processor that we had previously heard about with a 2GHz Exynos 5450 processor and a Mali T658 GPU plus 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel camera.

We have no idea if this is actually from Samsung or just a mock up of what someone thinks the Samsung Galaxy S4 will look like, what do you guys think.

Apple launched their first iPad Mini last year, it comes with the same resolution display as the iPad 2, which is 1024 by 768 pixels, we have been hearing rumors that Apple will release the iPad Mini 2 this year with a Retina Display.

According to a recent report the iPad Mini will feature a Retina Display with 324ppi (pixels per inch) and a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, which is the same resolution as Apple’s current iPad 4, only it will be in the smaller 7.9 inch display of the iPad Mini.

It will be interesting to see if the new iPad Mini 2 does come with the Retina Display, it certainly would look impressive in the iPad Mini’s smaller 7.9 inch form factor, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
