Pure Contour 100i With Revolving Dock Connector Unveiled For iOS Devices

Pure has unveiled a new addition to their range this week with the launch of the Pure Contour 100i dock for iOS devices which comes complete with a built in FM radio.
The Pure Contour 100i is capable of outputting up to 20 watts of power and is fitted with a rotating dock connector, which can be swiveled away when not required, a little like the newer Bose iOS SoundDock speaker docks.
Pure have also created an iOS companion application for their Pure Contour 100i speaker system that provides users with access to over 18,000 internet radio stations, on demand programs, podcasts and ambient sounds.
The Pure Contour 100i is now available to purchase for $189 and is compatible with the Apple’s iPod, iPhone and iPad.

LG F180 To Feature Quad Core Snapdragon S4, 2GB Of RAM, LTE (Rumor)

Yesterday we heard that LG were working on their on quad core L9 processor, the processor is expected to debut in a new LG Optimus smartphone with a 10 megapixel camera.
Now according to the guys over At Android Authority, LG has another high end smartphone in the works with the codename F180, and the device is expected to come with a quad core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and an Adreno 320 GPU.
Other rumored specifications on the LG180 include 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and NFC.
As soon as we get some more information on the LG F180, including specification and an actual picture of the handset we will let you guys know.

News360 Launches New iPad App (video)

News360 has this week launched a new iPad application which has been designed to take the pain out of reading and keeping update with the news from your favourite sources. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
The new News360 iPad app includes an updated and improved intuitive user interface, that allows you to swipe your way through news articles and easy share interesting articles across the major social networks.
As you continue to use the News360 application it begins to learn your likes and dislikes. CEO Roman Karachinsky explained to Digital Trends:
“We’re very specifically avoiding using your social feeds as a source,”-“We want to know what you’re interested in and what you’re psychological profile is, and then we want to find the content without relying on your existing connections.”-“What makes us different is that we try to take a more holistic approach in what stories we show you. We look at what you do on Twitter and Facebook and who you follow and are friends with to understand your relationship to topics, but we don’t rely on other people to curate stories for you. We want to curate stories for you.”
The latest News360 iPad app is now available from the iTunes App Store and is well worth downloading, if you enjoy reading on your iPad.

Google Nexus 7 Gets Android 4.1.1 Update

Google’s Nexus 7 tablet is expected to land in retail stores some time this week or next week, but for those people who attended Google’s I/O developer conference and got one of the Nexus 7 tablet, Google has released a new software update for the device.
The update is Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, and it was released as an OTA update for the device with a size of 12.6MB, the update seems to include a range of bug fixes.
As a reminder Google Nexus 7 features a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, processing is provided by a quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and it also features a 12 core GPU.
No doubt the update will be available for the Google Nexus 7 as soon as the device goes on sale, as soon as we find otu exactly when it will be available we will let you guys know.

Edifier Prisma Bluetooth Speaker System Announced

Edifier has created a stylish new Bluetooth speaker system its added to its range and unveiled this week, in the form of the Edifier Prisma 2.1 Bluetooth speaker system.
The Edifier Prisma is equipped with 1 x 5 inch downward-firing subwoofer, 2 x 3/4 inch midrange, 19mm PV dome tweeter, and has bass controls situated on the subwoofer.
The sound system Edifier has created, has a 48 watt power rating and is equipped with a wired controller, with ports on the back for two auxiliary input and headphone jack when required. The Prisma Bluetooth is available in silver, white and black and is now available to purchase for around $130

Google+ iOS App Updated with Full iPad Support And Airplay Hangouts

As expected and unveiled to be in the works during their Google I/O event last month, Google has just rolled out a new update for its Google iOS application which now includes full support for Apple’s iPad tablet.
The new Google+ iPad application is virtually the same in design as the Android version of the Google+ app and provides a much more comfortable environment to catch up on your Google+ activity.
With iPad stream styles being content based on popularity, type and orientation, as well as the ability to now start a Hangout from your iPad and stream it directly to your TV using Apple’s AirPlay service.
Other new features making their arrival in the latest Google+ iOS application include Google+ Events and the ability to attach instant upload photos to posts. You can now download the new Google+ iPad app from the iTunes App Store for free.

Xbox Kinect PlayFit Launched In The US

Microsoft has announced that its Xbox Kinect PlayFit is launching in the US today, it is basically a new fitness dashboard for your Xbox and Kinect, and it will be available as a free download over Xbox Live later today.
Kinect PlayFit is a new fitness dashboard that aggregates and tracks the calories you burn as you play a variety of Kinect games, from “Dance Central 2” to “Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012” to “Kinect Star Wars.”
Kinect PlayFit lets you view your personal stats over time and see leaderboards that show how you rank against Xbox LIVE members across the globe. Get credit for the calories you burn while having fun with Kinect, and earn Kinect PlayFit Achievements, Gamerscore and Avatar Awards.
Microsoft has also said that Xbox Kinect PlayFit will be launched in other regions later this week, although no specific details were given on when it will be available in the UK and Europe.

Motorola Atrix HD Hits AT&T July 15th

Last week we heard about the new Motorola Atrix HD, and now we have some pricing and a launch date for the handset, it will land on AT&T on the 15th of July and will be available for $99.99 when you sign up to a new two year contract with the carrier.
The Motorola Atrix HD comes with 4.5 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, plus a dual core 1.5GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, there is also 8GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot.
Other specifications on the Atrix HD include an 8 megapixel rear camera and a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, plus WiFi, 4G LTE and Bluetooth, the device comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
