Transfer Photos from Your Phone to Your Computer With Just a Bump

If you’ve been using smartphones for any length of time you’ve probably heard of Bump, the app that allows you to transfer photos and contact information between two phones with a simple… well… bump. And now they’ve expanded their functionality to include a website/webapp that makes transferring photos from your phone to your computer a breeze.
All you have to do if you already have the app is log on to bu.mp, select the photos you would like to transfer from your phone, and bump the phone against the space bar (although we’re pretty sure you could just hit the spacebar with any apendage…). After that you can download them straight to your computer to get them off Bump’s servers or share them with your friends via permalink. There’s not much “professional” application here, but it’s a great way to quickly transfer photos from your phone to your desktop when you’re in a bind.

Come vi immaginate il browser made in Facebook?

Microsoft to sell 80-inch Windows 8 touchscreen PCs

How big of a PC do you need? If you like your PC large and in charge, then here is some good news. Microsoft VP Frank Shaw recently told Wired UK that CEO Steve Ballmer has a Windows 8 80-inch PC hanging on the wall of his office.
Microsoft wants Windows 8 running on any size screen that any manufacturer can produce, and they want those screens to offer touch input. 80 inches might seem like overkill, but just imagine, executives would love to have this on their wall, or in their boardrooms and Microsoft aims to sell this just like they do with Surface. It’s not for the general public.
Although eventually it will be available to people like us as well, but that is a ways off still. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait.

ViewSonic 22-inch Android ICS tablet

In a teaser for its “Touch and Connect” series prototypes, ViewSonic outed a 22-inch “smart business tablet monitor”. It looks like it is powered by Ice Cream Sandwich.
22 inches is big for a tablet and small for a monitor, so calling it a “smart business tablet monitor” has it all covered. The touch-enabled device will be joined by a Windows 8 multi-touch display, new cloud computing solutions, high-end laser projectors and some interactive electronic billboards. All of which you can see on June 5th at Computex.
If you need a giant tablet, I guess you know where to be in June. So in about two weeks we should know more about what may be the largest tablet yet. Does my large TV count as a Tablet if I can pick it up?
