Fin dall’annuncio e persino ora che la vediamo in pubblicità e nei concessionari, Twizy è sempre stato un veicolo controverso. Non è un’auto, non è una moto, non è un treno e neanche superman ma allora come possiamo definirla?
Facendo un giro nei concessionari scopriamo subito come Renault non cerchi di venderla come un’auto e neanche come un ibrido: Twizy è (o almeno così viene venduta) la soluzione ai problemi di mobilità urbana.
“Urbana” è infatti una parola chiave perché questa piccola quattroruote che abbiamo provato per riportarvi le nostre considerazioni.
Samsung Galaxy S III Headed To Six US Carriers

Last week Samsung announced their new flagship Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S III, and now we have some details on which mobile carriers in the US the device will be available on.
According to the guys over at Slashgear the Samsung Galaxy S III will be available with Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T, plus some other carriers which include C Spire Wireless, Metro PCS and US Cellular.
The Samsung Galaxy S III comes with a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixel, processing is provided by Samsung’s new 1.4GHz quad core Exynos processor.
Other specifications on the handset include two cameras with a 1.9 megapixel camera up front for video chat and a rear facing 8 megapixel camera for videos and photos that is capable of full HD video in 1080, plus include NFC, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and it will be available in a 16GB and 32GB with a 64GB model launching later on.

Asus Transformer Pad 300 Gets Firmware Update, Source Code Released

Asus’s latest Android tablet is the new Transformer Pad 300, and Asus has just released a new firmware update for the device, which brings a range of new features to the Transformer Pad 300.
On top of the firmware update, Asus has also released the source code for the Transformer Pad 300, and it is now available to download, the update should be available for your device as an OTA update.
The Asus Transformer Pad 300 is features with a 10.1-inch screen, powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, supported by 1GB of RAM and will have 16GB of storage.
Other specifications include a 1.2-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera, micro-HDMI port so the tablet can be connected to TVs, and one microSD card reader for expanding your storage if required.

TL1 Racing Simulator Provides Total Immersive Game Play (video)

Equipped with a massive 180 degree spherical projector screen to provide total immersive gaming. The TL1 simulator has been designed to provide a new innovative approach to first-person-shooter (FPS), racing and flight simulation.
The TL1 simulator has been designed, developed and manufactured in the UK in cooperation with the Ariel Motor Company, to provide the ultimate simulation experience available. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
Within the simulator the seating can be re-arranged to provide driving and flying positions for Touring and GT car positions to Eurofighter. On top of that, the simulator is equipped with state-of-the-art simulation software which uses laser-scanned racing circuits, accurate to within 2mm.Motion Simulation explains:
“The unique seating system* can be rotated to go through various rotating positions, absorbing you in the simulation experience. The cockpit includes a Motion Transducer option that operates in a far more accurate and efficient way than bass shakers (speakers). The actuators push the floor up and down from all corners, directly transmitting road and engine reverberation to the driver.”
The TL1 simulator is now available to purchase for around $18,500 or £11,500.

Swivl-it Smartphone Camera Tracking Dock

Swivl has this week unveiled a new addition to their range in the form of the Swivl-it, a cut down version of their Swivl smartphone camera docking device. The new Swivl-it has been created to provide a cheaper alternative for those who can’t afford the original Swivl’s $180 price tag.
Priced at the $129 the new Swivl-it provides the same features as the original but doesn’t have the built-in microphone and has manual tilt rather than the automatic of the first.
“This is the basic version. It automatically pans to follow you in 360 degrees anywhere within 10 meters. It also allows for manual vertical framing through 110 degrees. The Swivl-it is upgradeable for a CD quality microphone with the purchase of a $49 Marker accessory. It runs for four hours on standard AA and AAA batteries.”
The new Swivl-it smartphone camera dock is now available to pre-order and will be shipping in 2-3 weeks later this month.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Coming May 13th, Goes Up For Pre-order

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will go on sale in the US on the 13th of May, and the device is now available to pre-order from a number of retailers including office depot for $399.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it features a 10.1 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Other specifications in the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 include a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. You’ll also get a 3MP rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera, HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 7,000mAh battery.

Adobe CS6 Launched, Creative Cloud Coming May 11th

Adobe has launched its Creative Suite 6, and Adobe CS6 is now available to buy from today, and the company also announced that its new Creative Cloud service will launch this Friday the 11th of May.
“We announced Creative Cloud and CS6 two weeks ago and these releases have caught the imagination of creatives everywhere,” said David Wadhwani, senior vice president, Digital Media Business, Adobe. “Today we’re shipping CS6 and look forward to the beginning of an exciting new era as we introduce Creative Cloud later this week.”
Price wise the CS6 Master Collection is available for $2,599, there is also a Design and Web Premium or Product Premium collections which are available for $1,899 and a Design Standard collection which is available for $1,299, plus individual versions of Photoshop CS6 which will cost $699 and Illustrator CS6 which will retail for $599.
