iPhone 5 To Come With 64GB Of Storage

http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/iPhone-5-design.jpg

We have heard quite a few different rumors about the iPhone 5, including its design, and features, now the latest rumor is that Apple will release a 64GB version of the iPhone 5.

We heard this rumor last year just before the iPhone 4 was released, but Apple only released a 32GB model, along with a 16GB model, and we are hoping a 64GB model will be released this year.

What about the rumored, and cheaper iPhone 4S, it is expected to come in 8GB and 16GB versions, and the iPhone 5 is expected to come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions, I guess we will know for sure next week.

http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Mozilla11.jpg

Mozilla have rolled out their new Firefox beta 8 release today, which now includes new features for searching, controlling tabs, and managing add-ons. The new beta is available for download now and supports Windows, Mac and Linux systems.

The latest Firefox 8 beta release includes Twitter as a default search option to make searching #hashtags and @usernames easier. You can also now choose to load tabs only when selected, resulting in faster start-up times when windows with lots of tabs are restored.

Other features including enhanced control of add-ons where you will receive a one-time notification to review and confirm your third party add-ons, allowing you to disable or delete them. When Firefox starts and finds that a third-party program has installed an add-on, Firefox will disable the add-on automatically until you have explicitly opted it in.

Google Chrome in arrivo su Android?

Designed to seamlessly attach to your T500 RS, the accessory will be available in two models: a PC- and PS3-compatible mode, with 13 action buttons and three D-Pads, or an advanced PC-compatible mode, with 25 action buttons and one D-Pad. No mention, however, of that elusive boost button. The Add-On is slated to start shipping in early October for $200, so buckle up and steer past the break for more details, in the full PR.

Microsoft reportedly adding video from Comcast, Verizon, HBO Go and others to Xbox Live

Microsoft announced new integration with live TV as a part of the Xbox 360′s fall update during E3 earlier this year, but didn’t name any US pay-TV partners at the time. Now, anonymous rumors recently posted on Digiday suggested the folks at Redmond were looking to work with Verizon and Comcast, followed by Bloomberg hearing similar talk from its own “people with knowledge of the situation.” Today’s rumors finger Verizon (which showed off live TV on a variety of devices at CES), Comcast, HBO, Crackle, Bravo, Syfy and UK service Lovefilm as likely partners. Missing from the list is AT&T’s U-verse, which already offers an Xbox 360 tie-in and distributes its IPTV on the Mediaroom platform, just like some of the international partners previously announced. If these services launch it will be interesting to see how the integration works and if it’s VOD like the existing Xfinity TV and Flex View mobile apps, or if providers cross the IPTV bridge with in-home devices like the Televation / AnyPlaybox.

With the update to version 2.5, the VoIP service has tacked on another 14 Goog-powered gadgets to its list of officially supported handsets and tablets. Yes, that’s right, we said tablets. In addition to bringing support to phones like the Atrix, Bionic and Nexus One, Skype is inviting the Xoom, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Acer’s Iconia to the party. We’ve even received reports that video calls are working on other Honeycomb slates like the ASUS Transformer. You’ll find the full list of officially supported devices in the PR after the break.

ASUS announces Ivy Bridge PCI-Express motherboards, for early early-adopters

If you get your jollies from things like procuring motherboards months before compatible chips are released, then boy have we some good news for you! ASUS is releasing three PCI-Express 3.0 enabled motherboards that are capable of handling Intel’s souped-up Ivy Bridge chips when they debut next year. The company isn’t in the business of giving its boards romantic names, so the three Z68-powered arrivals will be called P8Z68-Deluxe/GEN3, P8Z68-V Pro/GEN3 and P8Z68-V/GEN3. The whole lot will get two PCI-Express 3.0 slots, LucidLogix’s Vertu graphics-switching and USB 3.0. They’ll be available from October — the Deluxe model will peel €230 ($310) from the rear of your pocket, while the V-pro commands a more modest €185 ($250) and the V an even lower €160 ($220). After the break, we’ve got a shot of the German spec list that those nice folks at TechConnect managed to snaffle. Go on, geek out — we won’t tell.
