Nucleare: coniglio senza orecchie a Fukushima. Ma Governo non ci sente

Su Youtube gira il video del coniglio “di Fukushima” nato senza orecchie. Una conseguenza delle radiazioni? Un fake? Certamente un “trailer” di ciò che sta accadendo nella zona contaminata. Intanto TEPCO ammette i meltdown al “mainstream” mentre il Governo italiano affossa il referendum.

L’apocalisse nucleare di Fukushima, come subito (e a ragion veduta) l’ha definita il commissario europeo per l’energia Gunther Oettinger è stata (ed è) anche una catastrofe per la stampa e per l’informazione mondiale. Fukushima è sparita dalle TV e dalle trasmissioni “che contano” per lasciare il posto al silenzio stampa. I cittadini del mondo 2.0 d’altra parte non sono da meno, in quanto a passività, visto che oggi c’è Internet (rispetto ad esempio al 1986 di Chernobyl) e le informazioni, volendo, si trovano, anche se ci fosse solamente un unico blog a darle.

Internet proprio in questi momenti è la cartina di tornasole perfetta per conoscere di che pasta sono fatti i “netizen” e quindi i “cittadini evoluti”. Mai come oggi la disinformazione ed il silenzio è massimo, anche se, teoricamente, potremmo collegarci tutti con i cittadini giapponesi e far loro delle domande dirette. Forse una verità è che da una parte si ha la paura (e il disinteresse) di informare le persone e dall’altra parte c’è il terrore di “sapere” da parte dei cittadini globalizzati, che preferiscono guardarsi la partita, bersi tutto d’un sorso le prove dell’uccisione di Bin Laden e godersi il matrimonio di William e Kate.

Questo non fa che rimarcare la verità di un brano di Joe Sarnataro (il geniale e verace alter ego di Edoardo Bennato) che nel 1992 cantava ironicamente “‘A gente è bona, povera gente / nun tene colpa, pecchè nun conta niente / ‘a gente è bona, povera gente / solo chi cummanna, è malamente!”. E i questo caso o’ malamente non è solamente la TEPCO, che ha ricordato, meno timidamente degli scorsi giorni, le fusioni dei tre reattori di Fukushima, ma anche la stampa “mainstream” che, come in una processione di improbabili personaggi di un cartone animato giapponese, ha incominciato a sfilare e a battere le mani e i tamburelli per rivelarlo. Ma sottovoce, come sempre. (Guardate il nostro blog quanto tempo fa lo scriveva, facendo clic sul tag “nucleare” in fondo all’articolo, ndr).

Blackberry Playbook Coming To Sprint In June

RIM’s surprisingly robust tablet (and still boasting the best Flash implementation on a mobile device from what we hear) is about to make the trek over to Sprint, where it will be going for about $500. And by about we mean exactly that amount. Not only that, but apparently there’s a 4G Playbook coming, as a result of RIM’s collaboration with Sprint.

That $500 will net you the 16 GB WiFi only version of the Playbook, but look at the bright side, at least BlackBerry Bridge will be free of charge, for what it’s worth. Strangely enough, the release date is actually this Sunday, June 5th, but we guess we’d be excited to get the Playbook on the shelves as soon as possible too. Just think of all those people with Blackberry phones who can’t use them to push email to their tablets. Also, those non-native Android apps aren’t going to run themselves.

 

Adobe CEO Buries Hatchet With Apple

The Adobe-Apple feud seemed to be winding down now for a while now and Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen was on hand to discuss why at the D9 conference. For those of you hoping for a mature low-key resolution, well, that’s exactly what happened. For those of you hoping for a resolution involving Flash on Apple’s devices, that still isn’t happening and Adobe for its part still maintains the real reason behind Apple’s decision is of course protecting the App Store against Flash interlopers.

During the same interview, the Adobe CEO was also ambushed with a question about Flash performance on Android, or lack thereof. That didn’t go over as well, but he managed to deflect it with some waffling and some nonsense about RIM’s Playbook. Not particularly encouraging, but at least Android has Flash.

Microsoft To Launch Xbox Live Diamond TV Service At E3

According to a recent report by Win Rumors, Microsoft is getting ready to launch an Xbox Live subscription service at this years E3, which is reported to be called Xbox Live Diamond.

According to the report, Microsoft is in talks with a number of content providers and is hoping to have the deals signed in time so that they can demo their Xbox Live TV service at this years E3.

The service is reported to be similar to the Sky Player service that is available in the UK on the Xbox 360, and will deliver TV content similar to cable to Xbox Live subscribers for a monthly fee.

[E3 2011] Nuovo teaser trailer per Metro: Last Light

Appena due giorni fa abbiamo parlato di Metro: Last Light, mostrandovi anche un teaser molto frenetico che non ha soddisfatto le nostre curiosità. Oggi THQ ha rilasciato un nuovo trailer, molto più chiaro, mostrante scorci del gameplay in ambientazioni claustrofobiche tipiche della serie e in una Mosca sempre più in rovina. Nuove informazioni arriveranno nelle prossime ore, buona visione.

[E3 2011] Annunciato ufficialmente The Witcher 2 per Xbox 360 (video)

Nel corso della conferenza stampa pre-E3, CD Projekt ha ufficializzato il porting di The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings sulla console Microsoft, confermando così i rumor dei giorni scorsi. Non è prevista, purtroppo, una versione per PS3.

 Gli sviluppatori hanno promesso che sfrutteranno al massimo la piattaforma per non penalizzare la qualità complessiva del fantastico RPG rispetto alla versione PC. Durante la conferenza è stato mostrato anche il primo teaser trailer, in attesa del filmato completo che vedremo a Los Angeles. L’uscita è prevista per fine anno, molto probabilmente il 15 novembre.

Primo fantastico trailer per Tomb Raider

Square Enix ha rilasciato il primo trailer per il nuovo titolo nonchè reboot della serie Tomb Raider. Nel video, completamente in computer grafica e incredibilmente realistico, possiamo assistere all’incidente che farà della nostra eroina una naufraga in una terra ostile e piena di pericoli. Confermata infine la data di uscita, prevista per l’autunno del 2012.
